Im not a charter captain ... just an angler but I have fished all over the world and on some of the better boats . My suggestion is simple ...

Less emphasis on drinking especially hard liquor and more on the fishing. Hard liquor such as vodka, whiskey etc is a bad idea IMHO with the average customers especially when sun is involved and an the ocean.

    1. Food - Variety of sandwitch is good from turkey, ham, and a local style is good. Keep them dry in bags so they dont get soggy in the ice cooler and pre pack them so each customer has there own bag which will have sandwhich, snack, fruit.

    2. Tuna - I would stay away from tuna as some people just dont like fish

    3. Drinks - should be lots of water & gatorade/propel, maybe pepsi but more focused on water based products

    4. Beer - if you offer it, local beers are a good starting point, people enjoy trying the flavor of country they visit.

    5. Hard Liquor - NO, NO, and NO bad idea for your business

    Thanks gman for good opinion,
    You made very good points.

What you said about that each customer should have their own bag is perfect. I think would be a good idea to work on that. Like make specials bags or boxes for them.
One more question Gman, have you been in Peru??
Have you tried peruvian food, like ceviche??

    Best regards

I have not fished Peru yet but I have tried peruvian food in NYC. Ceviche is great when served as an additional food during the day but not as lunch by itself.

I am in Los Suenos Marina in Costa Rica. I have found that it is best to keep the sandwitches simple as possible. It is easier to please everyone if you keep things pretty simple. Nothing too fancy. We usually have some type of breakfast(muffin,or such) fruit, bags of chips, cookies, and 6 sandwitches for 4 guys. As far as drinks. I have 15 waters,24 beers,15 Coke. Keep it simple. NEVER bring hard booze. Unless you own a liquior store. haha. It's a Barco not a Bar. You don't want a bunch of drunk guys everyday.
    Good Luck.

    1. What type of food would you like to get in the boat?
-snack foods are always good. I love cheezits and goldfish, but abhor them on a boat. whole wheat bread, brown mustard, and mayo with an assortment of lunch meats are essential to have. tortilla wraps are good too for the carb concious client. veggies can help, but they go bad too quick to be worth the coin
    2. Do you like Tuna Sandwitchs??
-tuna sammiches are always a failsafe standby, but make sure you have a good fridge to keep it cold. hot tunafish has a bad habit of giving you the trots
    3. What kind of drink you like in a boat? with especifications.
-water, gatorade/powerade, diet coke, seltzer water. any sports drink to replenish electrolytes and rehydrate clients are paramount on hot days, and water as well for simple rehydration
    4. What kind of beer you like?
    - personally, I'm down with Mich Ultra or Busch Lite. but I wouldnt allow glass bottles on my boat and would prefer customers dont imbibe while underway. its a recipe for disaster
    5. Would you like to have Vodka, Whisky or Gin or all of them in the boat?
-Absolutely none of the above. Unless you are a completely private vessel, there is too much risk and liability to be had when hard liquor is involved. See the above statement, drunk clients is an accident waiting to happen

Of course I don`t want people getting drunk in the boat, I just want to know and feel what details would they like to have, or special request to make the experience as good as they expect.

get a shitload of cheeseburger hotpockets, tyson buffalo chicken tenders, lunch meat, beef jerkey and natty light and budweiser.. gotta have both. nattys for the way out/while fishing... buds for the way in.. then get someone to go to the bar right when you dock and pick up some big old orange crushs or mojitos for the whole crew while you wash down the boat/rods
