Fishing sea conditions ??

In a 31 Contender, what would be the most [ in sea conditions ] you would venture into ?
Curious, especialy of other contender owners.

a friend of mine has one and brought about 5 guys on his boat 2 years ago and started to run out offshore and hit some tight packed seas around 5 ft or so.. he did what most contender owners do and tried to bump it up to get on top but only thing he did was cause the back end to slam and my friend to fall and end up with neck surgery 2 months later..

a cc is a cc and althought they ride good and take rough weather pretty decent me myself wouldnt go out in anything that makes the ride uncomfortable..

if i can comfortable ride at like 20-25 without pounding i will run.. but every boat has that little sweet spot..

i would say tight packed seas around 2-3...

spread out you can get away with like 4-5

anything over that i would be staying at the dock in a 50fter.. lol haha

as stated above , best to run a boat by how it feels to your body, all the I took my 17' boat offshore in 12 ' seas fished all day and blah blah blah is ad hype

I saw Riptide runnig 2 to 4's and he was riding better than me. Nice boat.
