fishing knot

i know of this certain knot but not sure what it's called. basically it's a "4 down, 3 up" technique. that ring a bell for anyone?

Used to conect running line to leader, say 30lb to 80lb, Ive heard it called "no -name" or "yucatan" I was also told that the line needs to exit the opposite way it entered, so it comes out at a 45 degree angle. Hope this helps
