The Cooperative Research Units Program of the U.S. Geological Survey anticipates filling the position of Assistant Unit Leader/Fisheries or Ecology at the Oklahoma Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. The position requires a working knowledge of fisheries and/or aquatic biology and/or management and scientific principles to formulate and conduct research on applied aspects of aquatic ecology in varied landscapes including, for example, conservation and biodiversity of aquatic invertebrates, invasive/nuisance species, and/or biotic responses to human impacts involving water use and quality. Candidates with experience in climate change, restoration ecology, structure decision making, and/or adaptive management desired.
