    First Timer

    Greetings from the rain soaked region of northern California, as a first time poster on this site I would like to say "hello" and what a great site. I have been to a few other boards that are full of a lot off attitudes and very little good information. More about us. We have been fishing Albacore out of Eureka California for the last eleven years. Our trips range from as 12 miles out to sixty. On these trips we have encountered swordfish on the surface sunning themselves. Well we can not stand it any longer and are in the process of rigging up for over night swordfish trips out of northern California. Sound crazy. Maybe. I will keep you posted. Thanks, Ian

    Welcome to SFC, this is without a boubt the greatest fishing site on the net. Please post pics of the swordfish trip. We over here on the east coast are freezing and need some encourgament to make it to the fishing season.
