first time drum fishing

Hey just wondering first time going chunking for drum in del. bay. Just wondering how many clams to take for a trip lasting 8 hours? And any other advice wold be great thank you.

a bushell of surf clams should be fine. after you shuck the clams throw the shells in the water.
