[looking for a ride]

wow - didn't mean to cause such a stir - honestly. thanks for the words ladyangler. BTW - cute picture in the avatar. I did not mean to cause a stir at all I just joined the site because I kept hearing it was a great place to talk fishing stuff. Here is a little about me.

I started fishing for pond and river fish with my family. It is my favorite and always will be a special place for me to go. One day on spring break I was invited to go offshore. I caught my first bluefish and later that day my first blueshark. I have been hooked on this stuff ever since. It is so cool being offshore where you can't see the shore. The fish fight a lot harder and the the sunsets are awesome. I have been tuna fishing a few times and even caught a nice tuna. can't remember what kind it was but I can't wait to go back offshore this year. I love eating yellowfin. Espcially raw like sushi style. I hope to catch a marlin one day. I have seen a zillion pictures of them but couldn't imagine catching one. I have always heard the overnighters in the canyon are the coolest thing to do ever. But not sure I have the nerve to do it yet. Anyway - maybe wahoonbox was right and I got started off on the wrong foot. I really do like fishing and enjoy talking fishing. So maybe we can start over. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Hi Looking for a ride... welcome to a great site. I have to say that was not the wisest intro I have ever seen.
But, as a girlie who fishes, I have gotten to know some of the guys and ladies on this site they have become like big brother's and sister's to me and I look up to them for advice. Hopefully you will settle in here and become part of the family. I enjoy reading the fishing reports from the ladies on this board. ( I always learn something knew) If you read their posts and ask questions you will gain alot of knowledge from them.
(The guys know some things about fishing too But the ladies have them beat. ) j/k
