hey guys this is my first post. My ex-boyfriend has been a member here and since we are now broken up I thought I would log on and see what this is all about. I like to fish offshore quite a bit but I guess since the a-hole is no longer in the picture I will have to get all my offshore kicks reading everyone's reports.

Please do not take too much offense to this, but I have to agree with what people are saying here.

I work very hard for all my accomplishments and with everything I do. I do not tell stories to be liked or to fit in. I am who I am and that is that! Personally I could care less if anyone likes me or believes in me, I believe in myself and that is enough for me.

I am here for one true passion and people like you make me look bad!

I am not here to stalk my xboyfriend or his friends or his enjoyments in life. I have been stalked, followed and bothered and its down right annoying and for me scary!

A couple years ago was one of most memorable moments and this is why I get pissed with people like you make me look bad. I sought a charter boat for the pure fact of fishing and knew the captain somewhat for seeing him in passing. I would call with no return phone calls and finally I got to talk to him and joking or not he said " I checked your references and you passed", Passed what?? "Your real and I don't have to worry about taking you out fishing and you wanting marriage afterwards".

So with all this said you should take BOXES advice if you are truly passionate about fishing and leave the typical girl BS behind and start over!!

Just to play devil's advocate here folks. If a guy got dumped, called his girl a *****, and it just so happened that she (or her dad) owned the boat that he regularly fished on, and he signed on here looking to find a fishing fix and a new rig to ride on, would we be hating him so much?? Or would we be welcoming him with open arms?

Maybe I always look for the good in people, but if this young lady likes to fish, wants to make friends that fish, and maybe go fishing a bit, welcome aboard.

Who knows, maybe her ex is an a-hole?

If she is a stalker, and looking to wreak havoc, then make a stake, we can tie her to it and burn her (so long as she weighs the same as a duck!)
