First and Last Unofficial Bashin Thread

Seems that the off season has some tempers flaring and some people are having a tough time remembering that SFC is a different kind of site... One of a kind... The best...
What sets us apart is simple or at least was supposed to be simple. We don't bash each other. In a family our size though there is going to be some disagreement along the way. John and Jer activated that thing we call the PM system just for that purpose. Its there so we as a whole don't screw up otherwise informative threads with our own selfish gripes with others.
Seems some can't always find that button and it does spill over to other threads... Now we who have been here for a long time know the background on some of these feuds but to a newcommer it just looks like the same ol shit from other sites they have been on...
With that in mind. I fingured I'd try to make a single thread to put all the crap into that will allow once and for all every one to vent their spleens, bleed their bladders, cleanse their colons... Put it here then put it to bed. Say what you gotta say then be done with it but leave it here and not all over the site.
Take your shots. Shoot at me or your worst enemy or the one who's fishing style is different than yours so it must be wrong. Put it here and keep the site free of this crap once and for all. Lets make this the first and last unofficial bashing thread for all time to come...

I'll start by bashin me... I'm a big mouth pompus ass that uses too many words to describe something simple. I'm a foul tempered pain in the ass nut case with an ego the size of Montanna... Thirty years at sea and still couldn't catch a cold.

if you've got a problem,steup,tell the person you have the problem with all about...pick up the phone or better yet,step up and tell the person face to face-man i wish once,just once,and when i say that i mean it,someone who gave me a hard time would do that

Well put Deep. Since I got back on I saw where the bashing has now gone on to 6 or so pages. I am not taking sides with anyone on that thread but the one thing is with this or any other forum there will be disagreements. If you don't like something someone has said or you have a poersonal grief with someone settle it thru the pm's and not out where the internet world can see it. We have done a good job in policing ourselves on this site so everybody just needs to put their disagreements asside and get along. If you can't settle it in a pm then pick up the phone but settle it somewhere else.

In keeping with Deeps purpose of this thread I will bash myself for posting a racist picture as part of a joke on mix it up. After a couple of hours I emailed Jer to remove the thread because I felt it was offensive. We can police ourselves but not by bashing each other.

i can't settle this "man-to-man" and apparently he is not man enough to knock it off...

and yes, i suppose i can bash myself for posting sexists jokes that a lot of you guys seem to enjoy and i have little or no contribution to fishing or boating...
