All,

I'm taking my first trip to Hawaii in early May and am trying to plan a charter trip. It will likely be myself, my girlfriend, a friend and his wife. My friend and I have both been on charter trips before and I fish out of New Smyrna Beach, FL periodically so we have some (limited) experience.

We are staying on Oahu, but I hear that I should probably be fishing out of Kona. Being from FL, I don't get into billfish or tuna, and would love to have a chance at both. I'm hoping that maybe some members here have some experience out there and can give some advice. Any input as to which island or specific captains out there would be very appreciated!
