First Deer of the season

Yes folks, i got the first deer of the season, took him down with the left front quarter panel and bumper of my truck at 0 yards, didn't even have to get up early. God I got to move south.

I would have to agree that the south is no better. I have hit two over the last 5 years. Fortunately the truck didnt suffer too much.

I know, just venting, it just seems like its once a year anymore, called the insurance agent , quote " let me guess tim, you hit another deer" end quote. do they have any deer in costa rica, or someplace like that LOL

I'm still waiting for my first this year. Got one just about every year that i have been driving. I've hit 9 total & im only 26. Total of $12,842 total in body shop expenses.

Being I live in Alabama, we do have some huge bucks. During the cool weather when they are moving, I must see 5 or 6 a day. During the evening when Im driving home from work they run out on the main road I drive on. Ive come pretty close to nailing one of them or them nailing me.

Yall guys want deer, you really need to hunt in Bama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was driving home one day this past week and someone had hit one and he was lying on the side of the road. So I called and left a message for a very good friend of mine and asked him if he wanted some meat!!!!!!!!! I imagine by the time he got to where I live the meat would have been gone. lol

Coast Guard Road On emerald isle ..has GOT TO BE THE WORST ROAD EVER!!!!!!!


I swear, even in the middle of the day, i see like 10 deer each time i drive down to the point.


well, i hit 2 so far this year...both on the sharpest corner of coast guard road..those of you that know the road, know what c orner im talkin about..


1 in the bronco b4 that thing got toasted..and one in the new z71...good thing i barely clipped it.


Its either hit them, or swerve into some huge trees/ditch, or hit an oncoming car.

if i can miss em, i will. but im not going to kill myself over bambi..
