    On ESPN I just heard they fired Joe Torre for Lou Pinella. Things are falling appart in the big apple....next on the chopping block... A Rod

    Looks like Joe may be gone...One hell of a run. All those pinstripe haters are just envious of the Yankees success.

    The problem with the Yankees is not Joe Torre, A-Rod or Big George...the problem is Cashman. If I had the pocketbook he has to spend, I know pitching wins in October. Get rid of the dinosaurs they have on the pitchig staff and get some young arms (and backs). One veteran pitcher is plenty to help the young ones through tough times.

    For the off season, I am fire-selling Randy Johnson, Jaret Wright, and most of the bullpen. Let Moose tudor the aquired pitchers and let Chang keep on keeping on.

    As for A-Rod...He's fine. Sure it would be nice for him to do something more than 1-14 in a series, but you need to remember the batters around him are getting better pitches because of him.

    As for who should be the Manager... lets get Giaridi (sp) from the Marlins, he is a take charge guy hand can manage. Sweet Lou is not the right man for the job (but would make it interesting to see "Billy-Ball" once again).

    You are so right- pitching wins in October. You would think they'd learn- look when they won all the championships, yes they had hitting, but on top of that, lights out pitching. I just can't believe they got rid of Torre. He was the class of the organization.
