Finally home again...

Got our "little" boy back after three LONG DAYS at the animal hospital.

After having to undergo surgery for chips in his elbows, Squid was released from the hospital yesterday. Man, it was a long three days without him. His "downtime" is going to be 6-8 weeks and then hopefully he'll be back at 100%. Alot of rehab and shot nerves(our nerves) are expected.

He needed to have one of the bones in his leg "cut" so as to shorten it so the elbow would "seat" properly and now has be crated except for the time he is taken out to the bathroom. Poor fella.

Well at least he is home and the prognosis is good.

Tell um welcome home, It's painfull watchin the confusion on your pups face when they go through some thing like that. But I'm sure he'll be better for it. Thanks Tim

Glad to hear your bud is going to be fine! It's no fun for anyone when having to go through this kind of thing. Glad you cared enough to do the right thing to help him live a better life. He's a very lucky member of your family.
