Fighting is going to become a tradition at the MA500, there was one last year also. Probably a couple guys with ballyhoo invy. Why can't the sport of big game fishing uphold the professional standards other gentleman's sports do. I really dislike golf but have you ever seen Tiger Woods get into a fist fight over who has a better putter?

i got into a fight last year with the guy i was working for cause we were fishing up north had a nice white 87 inches he wanted his mate to kill the fish after the angler passed the rod to his buddy with the whole fleet watching on one side we had tarheel hooked up and the other side peguin was into a blue i took the gaff out of the hand of the mate and all hell broke loose got back to south jersey got into a huge fight he stiffed me for three days pay and the phone call was made to ma500 officals the next morning he was seen leaving dock at 200 am i hate cheaters

The offshore fishing crowd can be a testy bunch, then in tournament time things go up a few notches. Add money,the ego of the gold chain and rolex fisherman, a bad day of fishing and to top it off getting drunk after a long day on the water what do you think is going to happen??

Thats not true it was a road rage case that ended in South Jerseys Parking lot. Had nothing to do with any charter boats.
