I have never fished it but on a sheer adrenaline rush at weigh ins. WMO with its weigh-in intensity with the crowd in your hip pocket. That is intense working it, I can only imagine what its like for someone weighing in a fish.

MA500 has one of the most memorable moments, I think it was in 97 or 98. When a boat blew through the harbor to make weigh ins and the coasties chased him through the harbor and the crowd on the way to the scales. The guy looked at the guardsmen and said " do whatever you got to to do fellas. I just won a boat load."

As far as fishing a tourney SJ shark tournament is alot of fun. It has a blue collar feel to it. Down to earth

would it be Pirates Cove... That, the Barta and the Captain Eddy Haneman Sailfish are the offshore. The Redfish Action is the inshore.

The White Marlin Open is not only my favorite tournament, that week is my favorite week of the year. It awesome lots of boats, people, drinking, sunset, teasers, fishing in a fleet 99.5 miles from the inlet, weigh-in, the parade of boats in the morning and in the after-noon. that being said i think the tournament is getting away from it roots by allow boats to fish from different inlet in jersey and va beach.

the Poor girls open is also my favorite. its always fun fishing with the ladies, they are always excited to get out there and fish.

the challenge cup is awesome. im really glad i got to fish it this year. i like the format and i like the after party.
