The two things I always liked from that scene....

the name of Rodney's boat - "Seafood"

and the double take by the black guy in the jon boat - check out those eyes!

    What a Great thread!

This is why I love this site.

    Great Thread.

So many good movie lines that could apply to boating in general.

A couple of years ago we got boarded by the Coast Guard, while unloading a Bluefin at the fish house.

My mate says "I bet they got S.C.M.O.D.S"

Also, this summer I had the Griswolds on board, no shit the Griswolds, I assigned them each names "Clark, Audrey, Rusty, Aunt Edna, etc" they never picked up on, guess they just thought I was nuts or could not remember their names.

    Noonan. Miss it, Noonan.

Can't tell you how many times, before putting a lure overboard, I've held it close saying, "oh billy... oh billy, billy"...

I was a groundskeeper when that movie came out. Carl was my hero. Still the best damn comedy movie ever made, although I've yet to find a woman who agrees. "The pool or pond, either one would be good for me"
