Went for the very first time today... As I get older its not as 100% sharp as it was. Little sister recently diagnosed with cataracts so I figured I'd find out whats cookin in the lazers...

Well its evident that they must think I'm some whiny little ***** as I tested out at 20/15 for distant stuff... Inside was different as it should be at my age and as much time I stare at a computer screen... Use the cheaters for that...

Kind of surprised though that an optometrist could determine with one peek that my cholesterol is through the roof... Damn if he wasn't right... Been that way my whole adult life. Oh well bust out the Lipitor and drop that number I guess.

Not one who gets check ups and stuff as often as I should, it was good to find that the peepers are just fine and dandy and yeah I should address the cholesterol thing... Did discover something though... Those drops they put in blinded me but good and gave me betterappreciation for what I do have...

Lipitor will help for sure Paul, but you should really give up the smokes, if at all possible.

You're right, Nick. I try and fail so often that part of me gives up giving up. For the past few months I did a serious cutback by about half. From pack and a half to a little more than a half pack. Still isn't "quit" though. Need to man up for the final show down with the Marlboro beast.
Whole adult life I've had scarry high cholesterol... Not sure what he saw but it was the first comment he made... "Get a blood test and get that fixed!" I take it he had the same condition going. Whats kinda cool is this guy loves to fish and we're gonna make a couple trips...
