The Exumas ??

Any one ever been there ?? Thinking about heading there in about 2 weeks. Your thoughts/ pointers

yeah i love the exumas. loads of yellow fin on the troll and average 15lb dolphin. depending on where you are going i know a fantastic local captain/mate. PM me if you would like his info. he is out of staniel cay

get yourself the big chart book of the exuma's you will find even in a big boat you can run the 'bank' or ocean-side in good or bad days real easy. so much to see from hihborn cay all the way down. there are parks so don't fish or spear in them they take that very seriously down there! go see compass cay, staniel, sampson, the pigs and thunderball... so many places and so little time!!! have a blast on your trip... fishing is great down there and you will not want to come home...ever!

quest said it best...be sure to check out thunderball cave!! it can be quite hot...but I did have a nice breeze the couple of days there. best bet is to spend most of your time on/in the water!!

ummm....... i kinda had a quick stopover there......dont remember too much......our homemade raft filled with Haitians and Cubans and whoever else wanted a boat trip never made landfall....although from asea it looked pretty with its crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches.....

we sailed North following the mighty Gulfstream...actually i am still afloat and lost at sea.....can you send me an outboard or GPS or airplane ticket....and i will let u know bout Montezumas...ooops meant Exuma....

IT IS PARADISE PERSONIFIED......post card beauty.....with much to do.....
