    Everyone must sacrafice

As a top 5 percenter like myself I have heard republican congressmen and republican pundits alike utter those words when it came to their current budget ideas. "Everyone must sacrafice" has become yet another talking point that Faux news and the RNC have coined in an effort to make the general pulic believe that their budget plans encompass broad reaching cuts in spending aimed at all economic levels. My accountant finished my taxes yesterday, without getting into specifics I am above what most consider the top 5% last year, I am self employed with a small 60 employee company. Thanks to the republicans I will be able to keep my tax cut for another two years, which I will save and let it collect interest since I do not need it for my economic survival. Reading through the republican budget proposal I am hoping someone on this forum can tell me how I will have to "sacrafice" compared to those who make much less than me and rely on public programs due to be axed under their plan? It looks like with the tax loopholes I will be paying less in taxes than any of my employees, even less than my secretary will pay. My accountant is looking for a way to back more into my retirement accounts so I really don't see any "trickle down" here. Thanks repubs.

Where did I post I was feeling guilty ? Shame the repubs are cutting education budgets under the "everyone must sacrifice" agenda, many here barely got enough education as it is.

In Wisconsin the governor says he needs to cure his budget shortfall by emasculating the unions. Of course he fails to mention that the primary reason for the budget shortfall are the tax cuts for the rich that he passed and the state corporate welfare he instituted. So the working man will pay the price by sacrificing but the top 5% will not sacrifice anything and pay less in taxes to boot, Thank you repubs.

That's why they say a working man voting republican is like a chicken voting for KFC.

    Zummie,

I emancipated myself from the Republican party during the first decade of this century because I simply found the modern Republican party to be hate-filled, mendacious, utterly hypocritical, truthless and, perhaps most importantly, absolutely not representative of conservative values. My Republican representatives were engaged in nothing less than culture wars and had long-ago abandoned any pretext of representing all the people in thier districts.

They had become proto-fascists more than anything else. And, I simply don't have the stomach for the liberty crushing effect of fascism.

Since then I've read extensively about why doctrinaire Republicans think the way they do. And, as a trained clinical scientist I'm fully capable of reading and understanding not only the psycological literature, but also, the neurophysiological and neuroanatomical literature.

As a result of these readings I have become convinced that conservatives not only think differently from the rest of us, but also, have brains that are demonstrably and consistently different from the rest of us. The principle differences are found in their amygdalas; they're substantially larger than the average human's.

The amygdala has often been referred to as brain's fear center. The larger it is the more capable the individual is of fear. Those with the largest appear to be capable of the most irrational fear and the greatest degree of irrational, antisocial behavior.

And, it's these brain differences that make them the way they are, much like the brain differences in male homosexuals appear to make them the way they are. And, these brain differences are hereditary as identical brain structures appear in ancestral lineages.

Zummie, they simply can't help themselves, despite what are obviously self-destructive behaviors like the one you parody with the KFC reference. They are like lemmings herding one another over a cliff. They can no more resist condemning the "lazy others" they perceive as sucking up all the resources to their detriment than a homosexual is capable of...well, I'll avoid completing that analogy due to the word sucking.

Anyway, once I began to understand that they couldn't be reasoned with due to brain deformities I changed the way I deal with them. I use the language that their mysogenistic brains can process, confrontation.

    Works for me.

So, I don't know what good it is to try to reason with them even with as obviously true a parody as chickens and KFC. Reason is not their forte. Emotion is...particularly fear and even more specifically unreasoned fear.

Enlarged amygdalas and the regrettably antisocial behavior of Republicans must have had at one time some evolutionary survival benefit as, although it's not dominant in humans, it's pervasive to be sure. Maybe we're seeing evolution over time weeding them out as human culture has invariably tended towards liberalization, at least in free societies. If you think about this for a moment, it's society that they so strongly dislike. And, in free societies they're going to be punished for their sociopathological behavior.

It's in the tyrannical, dictatorial and fascist societies where that's not true. In such societies the exact opposite takes place. As evidence, what segments of society to tyrannical revolutionaries attack first? What segments did Hitler attack. Well, the first segments they attack are the more liberal institutions of a free society, universities, libraries, teachers, etc. Just look at N. Korea as an example. Virtually all free thinkers have been eliminated and the entire society is as obedient to their leaders as ants are to a queen.

So, it a way Zummie you and I and the rest of those in the free world who intend to remain free must simply take a stand against them, a physical stand, a confrontational stand and even a deadly stand. Else, like the intellectuals in N. Korea we face persecution, imprisonment and even death.

I'm up to the challenge. I always have been.

It's my hope that for human kind's sake, one day evolution will simply finish the job it started long ago and eliminate them entirely. Regrettably, that won't happen any time soon. And, along the way there are surely to be many reversals of our freedoms.

I makes me laugh each and every time I see a Zombie-like Republican or even worse the entranced-Tea Partiers use the word freedom. They haven't the slightest idea what the word means. And, if they have their way, like the leaders of N. Korea had theirs, there would be nothing of the sort in modern culture.

Zummie, You make no sense to me.

You have a company with 60 employees, they all look to you for guidance and yet, you lisdt your occupation as a master cunnilinguist. Am I missing something? Im sure, any one of the woman that work for you could sue, and win. Even Hugh Hefner, doesnt stoop that low......Larry Flynt did, so from now on I have a view of you that will probably never change.
Secondly, If you do have 60 employees, Why not make their lives better? You are so interested in telling all of us how we are ****. OK, We are crap! Go make the 60 people whose life you can change.....BETTER. I have yet to see a liberal ever do that. No, They spend their time floating around the world, handing out bibles, crying about Haiti and all the injustice, and flying into 3rd world countries trying to tell everyone else how to live.
I got an idea for you, quit telling us how superior you are, make a difference in the lives of 60 employees that work for you, Act like a CEO, and change your profile occupation. Otherwise, its not ***** you eat, its **** your full of. Im sure this will get deleted but.......so what, Your full of it.

Its quite simple, when the rich get richer; so do the rest of the commoners. If your company nets an extra 5% this year, would you be more apt to provide for your employees? Better insurance, maybe hire a few more, re-invest in R&D. That is the fundamental theory that the Dumacrates can't get. If you provide a fertile environment for individual and business success, along with that it draws up the masses.

You can't turn a lazy ******* into a productive member of society by giving out aid, it flat out doesn't work, Look at the Continent of Africa, Billion of dollars in aid and social programs pumped into it every year and the ENTIRE continent is in shambles.

On a small scale you can see the same thing in our cities. Baltimore city for example, more social welfare dollars per capita then any other city in the country, but you can't walk down the street in the neighborhoods who get the most help.

We need major social spending cuts except for seniors who have done their time and paid their dues.

Feed the businesses and individuals who are striving to succeed and they will bring up the masses with them, you can't build **** in a factory without workers, who cares what the CEO makes, as long as we do what we can to make the business succeed, and if that means tax breaks, great let them have it. We'll save more on getting the people off welfare that now have jobs in the business that is now thriving with a little extra cash laying around.
