ESPN2 Sunday Morning

I am just giving a heads up to let you know what is on this weekend (Sunday April 9)two new shows on one at 8am called Ocean Hunter the other is on at 10am it is a shark tournament from Key West these times are east coast.

yeah i saw some commercials about the key west shark tourney series coming out.

they said its all catch and release, and bonus points for retrieving hooks out of the actual fish, instead of just cutting the leader really close.

i think its gonna be a good one to watch.

The boats arent like some of the 44'ers and stuff, from what i saw, its alot of center consoles, alot of 23-28fters. i didnt see any cabin boats at all.


ill fish til 9:30, and be back in time to watch this

was one of the best offshore shows ever! Stripes on bait balls off Baja. What elegant creatures! The video of the feeding fish was breathtaking. Whether you like Guy Harvey or not, his work is top of the line. Can't do this w/o the love of it.

yeah he does some insane underwater stuff. and great paintings too

i love watching his show, when he gets underwater with that camera, he gets some awesome footage.


There was one last week with him and his wife getting under the water in the cage with big great whites in mexico i think it was? (not sure on location, but think it was mexico)

They also fished for yellowtail and stuff, but sharks started nabbing them

Damn it...I woke up early to fish...the rain wasn't the problem....winds were. Went back to bed.....Woke up to bass fishing....I always miss the good ones.

I saw the show and you are right, breathtaking. The former Mayor down here at CB. had the opportunity to fish in Mexico this winter. He said participating in the saildog fishery there was like catching pinfish here.
Anyway, they were able to slip overboard and witness 8 sails balling bait. Though he didn't have a video cam he did get some OUTRAGIOUS shots of the havoc these fish were reaping.
I don't know what this has to do with this particular thread,but it IS 3am. and we all know we tend to get a bit stupid this time of the morning.

How about some opinions on the shows? I for one thought Ocean Hunter was pretty lame. It was Offshore Adventures without the fishing. The shark tourney was great. This is one I will watch when the weather doesn't allow us to fish.
