Thanks for the words of encouragement!!!

Box, you wanna borrow one of my canes to aid you in your driving???? LOL No pledges on the team. The money is raised by the entrance fees collected. Sponsors donate the prizes.

I'm not real confident in how we will do in the competition. This skinny water fishing is Greek to me. I'm sticking to areas that have low to no boat traffic, for obvious reasons, and those areas aren't real popular with the BIG fish. (I have yet to put a keeper Flounder in the yak. I've come close....VERY close, but I always seem to forget the rolling pin when I need to get a 1/4"...LOL) I think if the areas were full of bigger fish, they wouldn't be low traffic areas! If anyone wants to post up some techniques I should consider for Reds, Trout, Flounder in SHALLOW water for me to try, it would be a great help. Sight casting is out though. My fishing buddy is still not good at reading water, and I, well, I don't exactly ecel in that area... LOL

Bad ass!!
Wave, you da man!

Last time I caught a keeper flounder in my yak, it was dumb luck.
I had a bucktail tipped w/ a squid strip that I'll usually leave about 50' out back. When I'm drifting it just bounces along, and when I'm on the move, it's being trolled. I've "happened" on a few fish that way.

Best of luck to you!
