Enough to make you smile!

Some of you will say here we go again. But oh well! I took my son Jeff to the fishing show in Timmonium Md yesterday. We had a blast, he wanted to fish in the make-shift pond which was loaded with about a hundred brown trout and three golden trout. Nothing was happening I think the pond was over fished Go figure every 9yo boy had fished that day and only a hand full of brown trout caught.

So Jeff was giving it his all, then I let him in on a little sercret...I said "Jeff take off half the bait". They give you a pre-baited fishing line. So being the good son he is, he took off half the bait. Next thing you know....BLAM, hes hooked up, and the area he is fishing explodes with white water as if he were tangling with a 60lb tuna. And me being the proud Dad...I got more excited then he did! I yelling YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! Thats my boy!!!

Well the next thing you know, the staff is congradulating him and taking his picture and handing him a brand new fishing rod for catching the first golden trout of the show! To see his face well now that was enough to make you smile...

I love to see this kind of thing . Took my kid to one of those bass shows one time and he won the casting competition. They gave him a bunch of stuff presented by Ray Scott....... Geez that was 21 yrs ago ..... anyhow he still talks about it!
