I have never had a problem with pay pal and have used it a lot. I don't think it's been mentioned in this thread but you can request a PayPal debit card with the Visa logo on it just like your bank debit card. When you buy and accumulate money in your pay pal account you can use your Visa/PayPal/debit card and it comes right out of you account. No fees, or anything. I have one and used it when I parted out my outboard on ebay. I accumulated over 1100 bucks and used the card locally to buy boat parts, food, gas, bait, clothing etc. I love it. It's like my own private account without the wife knowing about it. You can link it to a saving/checking account if you want to and also do money transfers like was mentioned earlier in the thread.
