Today was a special day in July for me. I had the privilege of teaching my daughter how to drive the 8000lb dodge 4x4(bad to the bone) diesel. After navigating the 896 intersection (The main truck route) and a few stop lights a pick-up pull next to us and says have you been fishing? He saw the SFC sticker on the tailgate. Well it took me a minute to respond because I was concentrating on staying alive at the moment with baby lead foot at the wheel. I must have looked a mess with the sweat rolling from my temples on a cool 76 degree morning. I answer hell ya, on the sportfishermen.com boat out of new jersey. The driver tells me a quick story of his last trip and the light turns green. Baby lead foot took off like she was in a Christmas Tree count down when I was handing the driver of the pick-up a SFC sticker. Well I missed but didn't drop it. So I say up the road a half mile and he new what I meant. OK baby lead foot keep a steady speed and do not change lanes. We have a pick-up in the short riigger position and a hand off is commin. Baby lead foot pulled it off and the coffee shop was right around the corner. Another drive by sticker sighting and Drivers Ed Flatrbottom style complete......Baby lead foot was so happy to pull this move off. That is all I have been hearing all day....
