    what does everyone set there drags on for tuna/ mahi/ sharks 50lb gear with 80lb line. med rods.????

    For me 12-14 lbs for yellowfin I seem to have the best hook up ratio there with my boat.

    20 lbs at strike. Slightly more when trolling sharks.

    Keep the drag below strike when trolling tuna (15 - 16 lbs).

    12-14 at strike but we keep our reels 3/4 of the way to strike button when we're trolling, for meat
