10,000,000 to 40,000,000 is not even close to exponential growth. 10,000,000 to 100,000,000,000,000 (one hundred trillion) is expontential growth. Essentially what you posted is that the in the past year, unemployment has risen from one person in every 12 to every single person than ever lived on this planet in all of history-and then some.
