    It ways 1,262 pounds I got that on an email a couple of weeks ago the email said it was caught in Florida thats all I know about it.

    That was in saltwater sportsman or sportfishing magazine a couple of months ago, I can't remember which. I think the article said they hooked up with it and it just started swimming for open water and towed them out to sea for miles.

    the article stated it was caught using a free-lined live ray as bait. and a big ray at that.
