Don't Ever Give Up!!!!

I will NEVER give up on trying to help the hurricane victims...

Now that halloween is over ... its time to moooove on to bigger and better things.

I spoke to the Salvation Army's southern head quarters this morning and I asked if sportfishermen.com members were to buy gifts for children/mom and dads and if the members were to wrap them and put in a little note if the present was for a boy or a girl..man or a woman/ clothing item or toy and give detail for age size ect... would it be possible for them to get the presents to the ones who were effected the worst by the hurricane's In this I mean the one's who are still living in tents with no running water and electricity. Because these are the one's who will not be able to have funds to go splurge on christmas gifts.

The nice lady I spoke to said that If I can get them to the local warehouse She said they can and will deliver to the families in extreme need due to the hurricanes.
Well I think I can manage that .... That is the least I could do and I will even be willing to take pictures and write updates to keep you guys up to date on the cheer you can give to someone .... I will even be willing to go hand out the gifts as a volunteer!!!! I will be Mrs. Clause and my munchkins could be my elves..

Deep C said he is willing to deliver gifts if you want to send to his area... so I guess we have all the areas covered for Christmas.

She said the only problem they are having right now is getting the trucks to pick up the packages to take to their local warehouse for storage until time to deliver.

She is going to give my information to the TOP DOG who is running the operations for the hurricane victims and he is going to call me back sometimes today with all the specifics ...
It doesnt have to be anything fancy or expensive... we can set a limit say up to $20 on a gift.

And maybe I can talk to ups or fedx to wave shipping charges to packages sent to me .... so it will keep the cost down... I want to keep helping guys and I need your help to do so.

The nice lady also said that she is going to talk to the person who is in charge of notifiying the media... and let her know what my idea is.

I am sorry to hit you so early with this idea but if we dont get it going now it may end up to late.. then we will miss out on the "giving" to others for christmas.
