Dominican Republic info?

Me My bro and a friend just booked a trip to an all inclusive (Playa Dorado Complex) for spring break in Puerto Plata. Info on the area would be appreciated (surrounding cities, nightlife, fishing etc).

Do a search of past posts and you will find tons of good info. Playa Dorada is a big complex with shops and stuff, kind of the big tourist area. Night life, try Andromeda (dance club) and La Barrica (Latin music club). Visit the fort for a little culture and the Brugal Rum factory for refreshments. Cabarete has good surfing if the swells are right and there is a local shop that rents boards. And remember, no matter what your cab driver says do not go to Club La Punta.
