I was planning on writing some stuff about the renovations going on Mirage. Or how to handle mold that you can't reach or some subject remotely related to boating or fishing but I have been distracted by a couple threads ass deep in "clique bullshit" that I more expect to see from a bunch of tenth grade prep school stuck up bitches, than a group of grown men. Yeah yeah I have heard it a bunch of God Damn times... "We're only joking... O stop being a party wrecker, buzzkill, killjoy..."

Seriously though fellows this crap makes us look no better than any of the other places we left to come here... SFC once was the special place and this dog pile on the rabbit childish crap drags us down to "no better than Site ABC or D"... Its spiraling into the basement.

I might expect a newcommer to have a tough time grasping this but to see our core forget the very essentials what set this site apart from the rest just shows the world we are no better...

I've stayed away from all of this stuff but I will say this, in the past 6 moths there's been waaaaaaay too much needless bashing,racism, and just outright things that should at least be on the "ADULT" forum on here. Remember that there a lot of kids that use this site to learn things from "GROWNUPS" about fishing. Has anyone noticed a certain member in the Junior forum that curses and seems to pick on adults? I wonder why he might feel that's ok. This site is meant for fishing, which is why we all came here in the first place. There has been a lot of posts where there was some information on fishing posted that was wrong, but you can throw in opinions in a constructive way without calling someone names and such. All this arguing and crap is senseless and accomplishes nothing. This is just my .02 cents.

If I see a fishing info thing that I feel is wrong I may offer an opinion as to why I 'Think" its incorrect and never jump on the maker of the post as "wrong or dumb or whatever". Thats what I saw others doing (a few hundred strong back then) and thats what attracted me to this site. We have grown in leaps and bounds and again I can see newcommers not grasping that concept... What this thread was about though was the seasoned core group of some of our finest, not only forgetting that cornerstone but down right pissing on it.
I see a lot of our original base group no longer here. I stay in touch with them and they often echo each other when asked why no input... Their response is that the same cliques and bashing they came here to escape has followed and flourished right here in the place it was never supposed to be...
I'm guilty of fighting with a couple stalkers on here rather than taking the high road and ignoring them. I'm not going to pass blame for doing that to anyone but me for doing that. I would however like to see people do like I did with this thread and tell disrupters new or old to knock it off...
