For the dog pen - I have a 10X20 pad. I did the first one myself and the second paid to have it done. Given that concrete is pushing $100 per yard, the $800 price sounds pretty good. You want a smooth broom finish for the ideal traction vs. cleanup compromise. I cannot encourage you enough to let the pros do it. Yeah, it's "just" a dog kennel - but when the dogs are clean, healthy and happy - and you can just hit it with the garden hose once a week - you'll be so glad you did it.

this time of year the mix in delaware will be hot. Have a friend help you with the 2 x 4. then broom it. Save some money.

I have talked to Todd (Reelhope) and decided to go with him. As soon as the weather lets up a little we will get it done. 49 warm weeks this year and I pick one of the other 3 to do concrete!!
