I sure won't be training my Golden to do that...but I will say, if he jumped in, I wouldn't be sitting there holding the rod. That shark looked very life-less being drug on the beach.

Staged. I'll guarantee they would let the leash go when that shark was green. notice there was no talking, or attempt to prevent the pitbull from jumping in-Why? because they had fought the shark until it was mostly dead from acid build up in the muscles, and let the dog jump in when they knew it was safe.

no one casually lets their purebred dog tangle in the water with a biter, unless they are sure the shark is spent.

Even if the shark was spent I don't think I'd be letting my ankle biters jump in there after a shark.....lol

My Westie goes nuts when we bring anything close to the boat but he hasn't jumped over.........yet!

It's funny how most of the hardnosed, burly owners of pit-bulls ive known would cry like a baby if their dogs were ever in real danger. (Not trying to stir it up) its funny, cause most of them are like adopted family members.

I lived in a house with two (and two owners). We would get one of them fired up after a few beers, bragging about his dog "Fred came running at full speed...and jumped....And then He LOCKED HIS JAW......TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS-PER-SQUARE-INCH-PRESSURE!!!!...(he'd talk to his dog)..."Aint' that right Fred!!!!!" By this time everyone would be blue in the face, and the women would have left the room.

I AGREE 100%. THAT'S THE FIRST THING I THOUGHT OF WHILE WATCHING IT. THEY PROBABLY EVEN GAVE THE SHARK A COUPLE SHOTS WITH THEIR BAT BEFORE LETTING THE "BADAZZ" MUT ON IT. A NON-SPENT SHARK WOULDN'T ALLOW ITSELF TO JUST BE DRAGGED ONTO THE SAND LIKE THAT. HELL, IT DIDN'T EVEN MOVE ITS TAIL WHILE BEING BROUGHT UP.....
    STAGED FOR SHORE...........
