It's just this type of kid that needs the help of the Boys and Girls Clubs the most, neglected by the adults in their lives. I'm sure your answer to them would be "go climb a tree, that's all I ever needed", but to piss on the people that try to do a little more is about the lowest thing I have heard in quite some time.

All I can say is Hubris there is something missing inside
Every time I give I fell great even when I dont have, I was so
happy that Andy and I were able to send two tractor trailers
filled with clothing down for them I felt proud to do so.

a kid, a child , they aren't worth it, not every kid had the mom and pop upbringing. more and more, single parents working two jobs, fathers late on their child support or worse just skipping town. So what should we do, turn a blind eye, close our wallets to children who need our help. if it only helps one child, its worth it.

Your right about one thing- I don't know you or your situation. All I have to go by is the gibberish you puked up here. I'm sure it sounds perfectly logical and comprehensible to you in your alcohol induced fog, but I had to read it 3 times to understand WTF you were talking about.

What you apparently fail to take into account is that not every kid had the most important advantage you did when you were a kid, and that's two loving parents. You choose not to step in and give a hand to these kids, that's your business. But please step aside and let real men and women pick up the slack.

Now I understand fully what You were tryin' to say. I was raised by a single Mom who worked nights as a waitress. If it were not for the Dad's of all My friends I probably would not be a fisherman or boater or baseball player or honor student! It takes an entire village to raise a child! If a Kid needs something whether it is a couple dollars or some help with life in general, I feel that anyone Who can help, should.

Dude your are the ASS that a good majority of the people who have met you think you are. The bottom line is that you had a house 2 parents and were able to get fed and not turn to the streets. You lived in suburbia ran around the woods and fished. These Kids do not have that opportunity. The money has to pay the rent, oil water electric etc. The Kids might get a bike or a fishing rod that you had instead of a beating from their dad.
