Glad to hear from you too!!! Things are great. Tough times at work. Things are busy now, but certainly going to slow over the next few months. Had a great time fishing with Doug this summer. The bluefin were amazing, and there at the end of our offshoe season in October we had wahoo heaven! I even tried some fishing in Venice Louisiana with Super Strike charters. It was a great trip, and I got to fish out by the huge offshore oil rigs in early January. Something I always wanted to do. How are things with you? And how was your fishing year?

Never called me an *&%hole, just, "Captain Magic" for the following reasons: When you get your very first boat there is always a learning curve.
1. Forgetting the keys to the boat.
2. Forgetting to put in the transom plug.
3. Losing the anchor.
4. Bending the prop.
5. Cracking the fiberglass
6. Almost throwing her overboard while docking.
7. Cussing 'cause she lost a nice fish.
8. Cussing 'cause she got cigerette ashes in the boat.
(Never understood the difference between that and fish
blood/bait)
9. "What do you do at the marina all day?" (If I have to
explain it you still wouldn't get it)
10. "Why do you need another rod and reel?" See #8.
11. "What you mean you didn't catch anything?"
12. "Why do you have to go to the boat show? You already
have a boat." (They never get it)
13. "You need another new pick-up?"
14. "What do you mean the boat sunk?"
"Honey, it wasn't my fault. At least it sunk in the
marina and not thirty miles out where I was taking on
water while I was sharking."
I'm sure there is more, but its all a blurr after the last couple of boats. And it only cost me a slightly used SLK350 and a $60,000 kitchen. Some of it wasn't funny at the time, but she makes me laugh about now. And she still wants to go fishing with me or mate for me on a charter. She's a keeper.

I have been fishing pretty much all my life.. until the last 15 years there were not to many women in the business...

So I have fished around lots of guys... I just look at it as if they are getting ready for game day... they get that look of

IM IN THE ZONE LEAVE ME ALONE...

Most women don't understand how serious guys take fishing or hunting for that matter.

I have seen guys totally switch personalities as early as the night before the fishing trip.

It's funny.

I guess women do the same thing at home..
