Does This Mean "I Have Arrived" ?,

I'm one of those guy's that has never bought a "new" car, truck, boat, lawn mower, etc... in my life. Alway's seemed there wasn't enough money around for those type luxury's. I've been fighting and fixing lawn mower's for as long as I can remember. I've got a pretty good sized yard (about 3 acre's), not big in Caroilna standard's, with about 50 tree's scattered about. Last week I went and did it, I bought a "brand new" mower. Figure it will be the last one I buy, that's the plan anyway. So I went all out.
Now if I can just convince my wife, that she would look "really good" mowing the grass. Frank

    Flatland,

Got a Hustler Fastrack. I believe they started out making very big commercial unit's.

Fred, I'll make a deal with ya! If you can convince my wife to take over the mowing mission, I'll take all the pic's you can stand. Frank

    Fred, You Wanted Picture's,

I was just trying out my negotiating skill's. I tried that "training her" thing about 25 years ago. She handled a push mower perfectly, even when she was very pregnant. But I had to pull the switch on the riding mower thing after I came home and saw tire up the side of the house (no kidding!!!). Then later I seem to remember a destroyed swing set. In fear of getting my truck run over and shreaded by a Snapper Comet, I started mowing the grass myself. Problem solved. Frank

I'm with you, last three times the wife took the john deere and mowed, she broke it three times in a row. last time ran over a coiled up hose and broke a deck shaft. much easier and less expensive to do it yourself. don't get me wrong she loves to take care of the yard, but the problems are expensive and time consuming for me.
