Never have before, and I usually fish with my buddies so it's not an idea I am likely to entertain soon.


BUT, if it is just me and 1 or more beautiful young ladies, then I may be open to it.

On a dare i stripped down and swam a lap around the boat at the 28 mile wreck, had my way with a girl or two drifting around a mile or so off the beach in our 22 aquasport when i was in my late teens...man them were the days so yeah i have had my a$$ burnt to a crisp before.

Not me personally, but....

Up here in Jerzey there is a nude beach at Sandy Hook. The fluke fishing is usually pretty good right off of the beach and we drift there quite often early in the morning to avoid the crowds that show up later in the day. That being said, it always amazes me how many people are surf fishing in their birthday suites.

So to answer you question, there are a bunch of people that do it, just not me.

One other observation that I have made in the same area. In my opinion most of the people that go to the nude beach have NO business taking their clothers off.

I would recommend being very careful that the fish doesn't grab a hold of the wrong worm.

Back in the late 70's when the big trout bite was red hot, a couple of my buddies would fish naked to keep the other boats away from them while fishing the south jetty of OCMD. They said it always worked. I couldn't see doing it myself though...

my story goes like this; a few weeks ago me and the wife(Beach Barb) were out on the bay fishing in my boat, it was hot and humid. I was already stripped-down to just my shorts, shoes and visor now it's later in the day @5pm, were north of the bay bridge off Kent island and the wife turns around (she fishes the bow) and all Im wearing is my dog tags and she freaks she thinks Imm'a gonna' cause a wreck on the bay bridge, like someone is going to spot me
oh well but I gotta' say it was an experience, I felt a few *'s cooler and I'd do it again, maybe just not offshore wth a boat-load of guys

Last summer I saw some fat, old guy fishing in a speedo. I almost barfed doing 30 kts.
