I use FB a whole lot. I don't click on adds, but I have become a "fan" of several businesses that I like. I have been notified of specials and sales and have bought products. Key is I chose to become a fan of the business or be a friend of the business. I would see it as a great way to keep loyal customers aware of what is going on.
