do i have what it takes to be a mate? well yesterday was valentines day right? i hate that day! i tried but cmon, i was standing in the mall looking for a card store. and in droves here come all these engineers from lockheed martin down the hill to invade the mall and buy their girlfriend of one month a valentines day gift. YIKES! talk about a nerd parade.
anyway i left........its just not me. ive never been able to conform to things like this. it makes me crazy! my blood pressure was up, i could feel it. anyway the captain........i call her mommy, even though she's my girlfriend not my mother, [you get it] was very understanding. seem's the last boyfriend she had 15 years ago also didnt like valentines day and never bought her a card. so we hugged, and i kissed her, telling her we would always be together. and if she's going to be that understanding.......i'm going out tomorrow to buy her a card. but no, i make a lousy mate!
