I messed up before when I said that Red Cross wasnt helping for the hurricane,I am truly sorry for saying that
They have helped me a great deal... I want to personally thank all of you who have donated to the red cross it was your money that helped me out in a very bad crises..You all are my HERO'S...
I don't know what I would have done without you guys, and gals.. This is all I can give back to you for all you have done for me and my family..

The Red Cross came to my aid when the government would not.. I tried to get ONE months of food stamps to help get some food because I had used all the money out of my paycheck to excape from the fury of the hurricanes from hell...
(I have NEVER asked for help from anyone in my life this was my first time, and they treated me like as if I was dirt)
they told me first I lived in the wrong address , then I went back to the human remains office and they then told me that we made to much money to qualify
So I had to resort to rolling quarters to buy food for my family...(I am embarrassed to even say I tried to get food stamps, but when you are a Mom you will do what you gotta do to feed your babies!)
I dont even want to say my next step would have been had Red Cross not helped me out!
Red Cross gave me food then the nice lady handed me $1,265 in cash to restock my frige and pantry.
I told her No that's okay this will help enough and she said No it is for you from your fellow Americans!!
(I started crying...WAHOONBOX, I know I turned all girlie and stuff but when she said it that way I thought about all of you!! and how you were here to listen to me rant and rave and let me do so and Admin John for letting those posts stay up, Thanks John
So if you think the government is looking out for you think again!!

It really brings a tear to my eyes writing this... because it was all of you and other kind fellow American's that came to my aid..


Here is another way to help Red Cross help other people out here in Hurricae Alley you can eat out and your meal money goes to help!! What a great Idea!! here is a link to find a restaurant near where you live...

I'm very happy to know the American Red Cross helped you out. It's great that the people get together to help those in need. This really helps us have faith in humanity.

Oh just great... Now you're gonna get fat from all that food and we're gonna catch hell for that... Glad they came through for ya. They did for us. Mones wasn't the issue here it was no power for weeks to the stores so no food in them. Mini and I did the passing stuff out thing for them and they treated us well in return.
