do fish listen when you talk?

The reason why I always catch the biggest fish is because I say Hail Marys while I'm fishing. The fish might not be listening but someone is..........

I think they hear ya somtimes.
Often at the end of the day, I'll go to the back of the boat and tell all the fishes it's there last chance to do battle cause were bringin em in and going home.
sometimes it brings a bite.
