Discovery Channel Show a must see

I recently caught a great show put on by the Discovery Channel called "Blue Planet." For all you big game fisherman out there it was a real eye opener about the eating and migration habits of blue fin, yellow fin, sailfish, marlin etc... If you have time i suggest checking it out, there was alot of great info on why these fish act the way they do, as well as amazing cinematography. It took them 3000 days to film it (over 8 years). You get up close and personal with a world we dont know much about. Check it out.

Also, you can view clips at their website: http://dsc.discovery.com/

    Enjoy!!

Welcome to the board Rock On,
We bought that series when it first went to DVD and I must have watched the whole thing about 10 times and I still see new stuff.
My favorite scene is the Sailfish working a bait ball

Yea its amazing how fast those fish can swim as well as how smart they are. Being a big tuna fan I loved that part but i also found how smart the bait fish are to pretty amazing. Getting together in a big ball to give the impression of one large fish is smart on their part. But in the end the bigger fish wins.

    Thanks for the reply
