Did Text Messages Decide this Election?

ok..like many other here....am watching all the political experts give their 2 cents worth.....and yes i too am in disbelief...but the question i have is......What really got all the young..(first-time voters and those newly declared Americans) to the polls?....Some media talk about many of Americas youth and newly sworn in citizens were text messaged........so if that was the case can we assume that this election was won on the power of persuasion and modern technology...yup the Obama camp sends text messages..."Vote for Me"....and they flock to the polls in great numbers not knowing the first thing about the issues at hand or even how the political process works.....but....they have let their voices be heard.....now ...hmmmm...wonder if Obama is gonna answer their texts when they aren't happy with what he is doing for them....and as their dollars shrink and what CHANGE they get back.....not quarters or dimes...but maybe nickels and pennies....but they dont worry cause another social program for them pilfer will be established at our expense...oh yeah....guess we probably will be billed for their cell phones next ....through some BS welfare communication package

The texting was a great hit with the young worthless masses, such as my cousin with her four unfathered children who all have cell phones yet cant pay their bills. The state paid for her to go to school and get her LPN yet she stays home because welfare gives her more money at the end of the week because of child care. Yes Obama was a huge hit with these worthless masses texting them and promising them better lives for sitting on there ever widening asses. I dont know how people live like this daily sucking on the govt teet. I lost my job in August to restructuring and have started collecting unemployment just this past week because my savings are dwindling while trying to find a job. I feel like a bum even though I am working my ass of to find a new gig, hopefully one of the interviews from Mon or Tues in PA will payoff, if it doesnt happen soon, Im afraid its gonna get harder. To everyone out there good luck I have a feeling this is going to hurt.

no. Obama bin Lyin to the voters won this election.

There is no way he can keep all those promises. Not even 3% of them....except for taxing the 200,000 and up club and cutting checks for the non paying club.

Some kid cut me off yesterday. He was absolutely in the wrong. Shoulder length hair, driving some gay little wagon with "Obama '08" written in window chalk or whatever all over his car. He flipped me off. So my dad opened his window and yelled "Take the Obama and shove it up your ass." Made my day Kid's finger went back in the window real quick, too.

I don't understand why Obama is so appealing to all these kids. They are the same ones who will expect instant gratification. They expect the world to be perfect now that Obama is el presidente. Good luck with that one I've always been a Ron Paul fan myself, but out of the two candidates I like McCain. I just hope Obama gets out of office by the time I'm on my own.
