I felt sorry for the kid. You know what was going through his mind. He was probably saying, "why are they giving me this word?" This a bad word and I have been told to never say it!!! Why?!!!

I guess the next logical thought would be, what would the fall out have been had they given that word to a hyphenated American?

Where was that spelling bee? I remember when some politican used the word "niggardly" which means to not spend, frugal behavior. I thought they would kill him for it. I forgot who it was but this kid is going to be haunted for life with this. Perhaps, one day he too can be president........ [ The new president passed a Niggardly budget with the senate tonight, and when he was little he won a spelling bee .....spelling the word which he hasnt stopped using since then] Only man in America allowed to use the word. LOL!
