    Yeh, I know.

Another high tide on top of an abnormally high, low tide and I'm gonna get wet. Right now got about 18" to the top of the bulkhead.
    Did that make sense ?

yes it did. we use to have a trailer on the first street ....5 down from the original tunnel double wide....lagoon side. Many times the dock was under water. Maybe 12 foot up ...into the small back yard, once that I remember

Sounds like a pretty cool place with some good eats and drinks. Hope you all didn't get too disrupted up there.

Spent all day doing boat checks at several marinas around the Delmarva coast. All in all everything was pretty mild slightly high tides, some fallen tree limbs, and a little breezy. It was amazing to see the amount of boats that did zero preparation. A few were getting damage that would have been simple to avoid if they had done a little storm prep. My guess is that they don't live around here and just hoped for the best. All the boats we look after have so far faired well with no damage. I hope everyone else on the board is making out OK! Looks like the winds are about ready to move around, so we will be doing one more check tonight.
