In "my pit" theres room for it behind the chair. I also have one that fits neatly in the slot where the transom door allows it to be tucked out of the way. Better yet I use the built in one on the bulk head.
On the luhrs I think you are referring to (not my boat) there is not any room behind the chair to fit one without blocking all access to the bridge. Not that a light weight cooler is an issue. Come on down and see how many "pro" pits are clogged with immense live wells along the gunwales to really tighten up room and block feree and easy access. They don't move so well when things happen quick do they. Still havn't come close to showing danger... No balls two strikes...
