Deep Schedule Fall-Winter-Spring
This season is shaping up to be a good one. We will be at it again running out of Palm Beach inlet. Its possible that we may move to a marina right at the inlet instead of our current one thats about six miles from there. I have had a lot of support for this move idea and if their new fork operators can handle the boat we will probably make the move.
If we do, we will add half day trips to our list of options. I did some upgrading of the motors late last season to improve reliability. I also picked up a set of rocker stoppers to dampen our roll so sword trips will be more comfortable and not as weather dependant as in the past.
I have signed on with a private owner to fish a lot of tournaments but will leave prime dates open for charters. Though I am with him for most events this season his schedule leave me open on Deep C for the Grand Slam swordfish event on Oct. 20-21 and as a free lancer for the Buccaneer Cup and Reef Cup. Most others though are booked by him.
This spring, back by popular demand will be Bimini trips. The people there treat our guests and us like family and with so much more native flavor to the island, I'm delighted to be headed back in late April and May. We have already booked out two legs and I will make open legs known asap. AT Bimini we intend to turn up the heat. Since the engines are now 100% we will be venturing farther out and targeting tuna harder. The new cut is so navigatable that I'm now comfortable running south once each leg to set for a sword drift and return after dark. Late the last trip there we tightened our game up and dialed in the grouper tactics. Their limits are reportedly supposed to relax some so thats another game I'm looking forward to attacking a little harder.
In the make up charter section I'm running an incentive sale. I can't wait to see the smiling familiar faces back for memory makin and hope to see a lot more new ones joining us...
