Finally got a hard nibble on the Deep C... Kinda choked up about letting her go but its the right thing to do. Irresponsible just keeping her for the sake of keeping her... Needs to be loved and run and if we can iron out a couple details looks like she's gonna move to Carolina to join a small fleet of other Albemarles...
Did a couple local trips a couple weeks back and blistered the blackfins. Heard the dolphin bite is off the charts but havn't been out since they showed up. Little bit of hunting. Small 4 pointer, lots of doves, but oinkers evading my deepness...
Any way... Not dead... Not snobby... Just busy spinning my wheels...

Well the one bite just isn't gonna work. He bought a jack shafted hull with no or bad power recently for next to nothing and its stuck in his head that all boats can be had at like zero cost. I like the guy , he likes the boat but real numbers aren't working. Market on comparable is 33-39 K with running diesel inboards. Gas running high 20's to mid 30's... I'm priced to flush quick sale almost 10 grand less than any other boat on the market. She needs a couple odds and ends and needs some wax on topside but is running and looking fairly good. Bottom line is I'm not just gonna give it away. Time is what I don't have right now so I pulled my pants down and still everbody wants more more more... Aint worth letting it go for any lower than where I'm bottomed out at. If I could sell it cheaper i'd advertise it cheaper.

The problem is that I havn't really got the time to deal with her myself. The other three here plus the other three side rides pretty well owns what time I have... Tried even to set it up in the islands for some of my boys to charter but they just can't get their act together. Would set it at my place in the keys but no shore power and really nobody to keep an eye on her would be asking for trouble... I mean if I havn't got time for her here I certainly wouldn't down there as I only use the place a couple days a year any more...

You are correct Seapower. I should have let you have her back when but wasn't sure which way life was headed back then and she was a cushion if something was to happen to other job. Different story now...
