Thats twice in two posts you have had some reference to physical violence... That would never be an issue with real friends... My friends have enough intellectual grasp to tell when something is said in fun and when its not. John is a big boy indeed but he also knows I cut no check with my mouth that my skinny ass can't cover...
People who take the time to KNOW me know that when I'm barkin and grumbling all is good. Its when I get real quiet that theres an issue...

If polite is your bag then more power to you. Enjoy your tea and crumpets over a rousing round of croquet...

i think you should make amends by donating a check to a white marlin charity fund. also, you should volunteer time four days a week at a domestic violence center, breast cancer walk, autism, and special olympics. that'll teach you to tame chaos next time))

Anyway, I always put the biggest guy in the chair, and a cement forms worker if I can get my hands on one......you know the big guy that loads the forms on and off the rack truck....

The problem with some people that fish are these statements. "If you ain't fishin you ain't F&%kin up", "organized chaos", "I'd rather be lucky than good". If you have said these statements it is because you are not good at fishing and you like to make excuses. That's why you get smoked by the boats that give a Damn and put a strong effort in at these tournaments. You guy are the ones that say at the end of a day when you went 0 for 6 on whites "at least we weren't at work" Thanks for putting the money into the calcuttas for the boats that don't uses these statements to win. Peace Capt. Rick.

No not angry just telling it as I see it and I say a lot of things tongue in cheek. People spend a lot of money to go out to the rip to try to catch fish. Its a shame when all that time and effort and money goes to waste because people don't put the time and effort into the simple things like watching the baits to see the fish pop up behind it or sitting on the long rigger rods in case the fish fades back to it. It kills me when I read about a white comes in and "steals" 5 baits from the spread. Fuel costs to much and people pay way to much money on boat payment, insurance and marina slips for things like that to happen. I feel like people spend so much time talking about how to rig a ballyhoo but what about how to set up a cockpit or what should people do after I call out what bait the fish just popped up behind. That first 10 seconds is so important to catching more than just that fish that you see behind the bait. If you have a good crew it should be more like a well choreographed ballet rather than "organized chaos". Again I'm not angry, but the little things is what makes the difference and when you just put up 10k of your own money, maybe that second or third white you could have caught was the money fish. I know that if someone has me in their pit they expect that its done perfectly whether its in a tournament or not. It's a lot more fun when you are catching rather than whiffing.
