Deep C. doing it all wrong on a White. MA 500

My favorite part is the first 3 seconds where Deep C is cranking on the reel while its in the rod holder clearly braking an IGFA rule durring the tournament.

I don't white marlin fish. Hell I havn't targeted whites in nearly ten years... The ones I get are strictly by accident. Look at the tackle genius... Thats 50w and 80w stuff... I'm blue marlin fishin! Rat ******* whites are a thorn in my ass. No love for em at all. Ask me if I care. Man paying the freight wanted that one measured to get an idea of what size to look for cause others I throw back without even looking, so we measured... On 80 gear its to the boat hot and is still heated on the tape... Again whats your point?

Hoping that some bunny hugger gets mad at me for being mean to a round fin needlefish? You wouldn't be bashing on a bash free site would you? Show me anyplace I have bashed somebody for doing it wrong... You can't because as long as the fish hits the deck, pretty or not, thats a catch...

Oh don't sweat em there Jimmy... They're bored I guess... I don't know where bustin balls come into it. I never bust balls of guys catchin fish or how they do it... I love the color commentary, especially the part about me cranking? First three seconds? Hell I'm still at the helm telling them to get his "fat ass in the chair". I see me clearing a leader or three or four. I see me getting a ride while trying to tape cause ol Doosh keeps uncovering its eyes.
Even then we don't even call in most of our whites... I'd rather call in neeters...

Hell that was alot more organized then what goes on in our cockpit. If it looks like it could be close we throw the stainless to them and if they are short, sorry about the hole through your head, hope it heals soon, and if not the crabs and sharks wont mind. I have yet to see the exact procedure on the proper way to boat a fish since every fish reacts differently that could be hard to figure out. Deep thanks the video.

I wasn't knocking the crew, it was aimed at you. I have worked on many charter boats and have had the greenest people you could have in the pit with me and it never looked like that. I guess if you're going to strut your stuff here on this site you shouldn't have video's of yourself online looking like it was your first day on the water

I knew you guys would chime in and say that. No vid's for me but then again I don't go around this site acting like I am the reason it is still around or telling people how to run their business. As for the video it was a total mess. There are so many things wrong with what happens from hook up to release I could make a David Letterman top 10 list of it. If you're in the pit and you're a prof. then make it right, don't just go with the flow. If your going to PM me and give me a hard time then you need to be able to take the heat. I have seen Deep many times tell other people how good he is, just wish there was proof.

The high point in my fishing world over the last two months was catchin crap off the dock I hadn't caught since I was a kid... Oh yeah.. Thats braggin...

Ten things wrong? I see a whole lot of things right... I see eleven rods unloaded, leaders cleared and all stowed. I see smooth transfer from holder to chair as permitted by that tournament. I see the fish hit the deck in three minutes... (That might just be why its heated up)... I see a gaff holstered on visual that its not big enough to kill. There is slime on the deck... Blood if any is minimum. Fish did just have a 12/0 jobu run through its jaw but no gill or gut intrusion. I see it measured and sent head first back to the sea. I see happy guys who just caught a marlin... For the angler, his first...
Things wrong? Yeah the fish is pissed and we didn't do a good job covering its eyes to calm it down. Rod is leaning on gunwale (not deck) but unloaded and ready to stow.Yeah it took a few seconds to find an empty rod holder (36 Luhrs don't have all that many to stow eleven of em)... I see fish going nuts. Our fault for catching it too quick (wanted to get back looking for important fish).
The one thing I see wrongest here is that for the guys on that boat it was a thrill, a good time they'll always remember. Then because you've got some dreamt up issue with me all you have succeeded in is shitting all over their good time...

Never do I shit on someone for any level of fishing skill. From first time worm dipper to the globetrottin grander slammers they're all good in my book. Old or young it doesn't matter.
