Deck Mats

Whats up guys,
Im looking to pick up a good deck mat... Im just wondering what some of you guys have. I see the one by Footcush http://www.footcush.com/... it looks pretty good but I dont know if I like how thick it is. Any opinions on this one or others? I did a search on google, but I didnt see many choices. Just trying to ease the pounding. Peace.

I will be the first to say i was unsure about the Foot CUSH BUT i love it.

I was thinking it looked to think and was to exp. but i bought it and love it.

I've been looking in to these too.
Admin- does the foot cush slide around? I'm looking for something that raises me up about an inch. Will it do that?

I keep two of them on the boat, and they get used a lot. They come with snaps to fasten them in place, but I never installed them. They stay in place well enough to suit me, without the snaps. They are 1-3/4" thick.

I have the footcush, And I say that it is a goog product.

I installed the snaps on mt center console and it stays in place. After 3 years I turned it around as the rear corner was getting pushed down - not terrible but it was visible. Great product and even if I didn't get another year out of it I would but another. You can really feel the difference when you step from behind the console to the hard deck. They make a difference.

I had the one from Birdsall Marine before - looked more like an overpriced piece of pool mat. It worked ok but moved around al lot when it got wet. Served it purpose but I like the Footcush better.

Looking for someone who has seas shocks to see what they say?

ok, my 2 cents, I got the same mat that cooks use . It is about 1" thick and can be cut to fit. Does not move much and has worked well for about 4 or 5 years now.

Years ago my brother-in-law took a pool float, it was flat like a body float and made of closed cell foam, obviously. But he cut it to size and has had it for over 15 YEARS! If you have an Advance auto parts store around, look behind the counter at there cushions. They are nice! But they are just delivered and have no name on them.
